The poem "Mujer" by William Carlos Williams used black Persian cat as a metaphor to describe the unequal level between women and men.

Peer Review

I think this poem analysis is good that to use a lot of quotations which is in the poem. He connect the quotation with his paper. I think that make this analysis more interesting. Also, he write a lot about the meaning of the poem. In the analysis, he also added his own thinking in the poem. I think this is a good analysis because he uses his own words to explain what the meaning for every sentence in the poem. The words "I count the hours I think of you" appeared lots of times. He spends more time to explain this sentences and says the differences between these two times. In the analysis, he also adds some his own opinions to let people understand it more easy. This is a good start for the analysis I think. The hook “what is love?” is good for readers to make a interest in this analysis. If he just begin this essay, it will be very boring. Also, he doesn’t only explain the sentences, and also he write the meaning of the words. That people can understand the poem not only by the sentences, and also by the verbs and etc.
Although he write so many things about the meaning, he doesn’t spend too many time to explain the deep things in the poem. I think there will have more deep things, such as the background. Why the author wrote this poem? We don’t know the reasons by reading this analysis. I think he can add more like that. Also, I think explain the title will be better because sometimes, the title will have some meaning to the poem. In this analysis, he uses too much time on the meaning to the poem which is not the things that people really want to know. I think add some more experience can make the reader go with the analysis; that will give readers more ideas to understand this poem, even it’s not right at all. By the other side, this analysis is too boring that use too many words in the poem. I think the quote should be in the right place. When the readers read that, they can understand why the author write this sentences.

Another big problem in this analysis is the paragraph. There are only one paragraph through the whole essay. That makes readers hard to read. I think to separate the paragraph will be a better choice because people will know what are they read about in this paragraph. In my opinion, in the first paragraph, he should write something about the meaning in the poem; in the second paragraph, it’s better to write the deep thing, such as the meaning of the title, the background about this poem. If he write this poem for only one paragraph, it will be very messy for the readers to read.

In conclusion, I think this analysis is good to have the meaning for the whole poem. However, it’s better to have more deep thinking and to separate the paragraph.

Drama

We have drama on Friday and Saturday. Because I am a dancer in the first step, I only see the second part, and I already watched that for 3 times.

I was confused when I know we should have a show this week. It is very nervous when the show will began a week later. We spent the whole week to practice and make our dance to be better and better. I learnt this dance in only one week. In the beginning, because I was sick, I missed lots of part of the dance. I couldn't follow others. That made me very said. Then, I practice more and more time, I danced better and better. The only thing that is hard for me is the memorization. I should remember all the things in one week, and the couch wouldn't teach us as carefully as they did in the first time. However, I think I did week on the stage. I smiled and watch the audiences.

When the first step finished, we went to the auditorium to watched the drama. I think this drama is very interesting. Especially, the part for the girl called "Sam" and the boy "John". I like their singing; I like the action of Sam; I like the last part when Sam run after John. The girl is very brave that she can tell the person who she likes. This kind of musical made me very exciting that I want to know more and more, and watch more. I even took a video about this part for my friends to tell them how interesting is this drama. 

I think this drama is very interesting and exciting. I could hear the laughing during the whole show. The audiences are also very nice that they didn't just sit there and watch the show. They gave us the laugh and handclap. I think that was the best encouragement for the actors. 

Analysis --- Mujer

Mujer

A week a ago, I read a poem called Mujer. The poem "Mujer" by William Carlos Williams used black Persian cat as a metaphor to describe the unequal level between women and men. The title of this poem is the Spanish which means the women. In the poem, it writes about the cat. I think this poem is very interesting, so I memorized this poem and wanted to learn it more and more. The meaning of this poem is funny, but also, in the deep of the meaning, this poem is more mysterious. I think this author not only care about the equal between people and people, but also between people and animals.

In the poem the “black persian cat” is special, and it is the main points in the poem. Black Persian Cat is ominous. People will curse them unequally because they afraid they will give them unluck. Then, they “took you for rest”. I think they just kill this unlucky “black persian cat”; it just like “that old”. In my opinion, “Yankee farm” is the heaven. Even there are “so many field mice”, the cat still feel very lonely. In the end, “you return to us” because the retribution is coming. The “black persian cat” wanted someone come to stay with it. This poem has two stanza, and in the second stanza, there are only one sentence which repeats “Oh, black Persian cat.” In the first one, there is a exclamation mark in the end of this sentence. I think because in the beginning, the author wants to stand out the main character “black Persian cat”. Then, in the end, all the things become clam. Also, maybe in the beginning, the author want to explain the fear from people to the “black Persian cat”. However, in the end, the author pities the “black Persian cat”. Although it did not do anything, people cursed them unequally because they were afraid it. When I read this poem, I think it is very interesting and want to know more about it; a week later, I think I know some of the meaning in deeply.

By reading more and more time, I began to understand this poem. In the beginning, I said, “Mujer” is the Spanish which means “the women”. No one will write a title which is not connected with his poem. Therefore, the “black persian cat” is meaning the “women”. It is the metaphor in the poem. Also, “black persian cat” also mean the “woman”. The author want to talk about the curse of women in the ancient. As we know, in the ancient, people think women is lower than the man. Man can have education and work outside. The woman should stay in home and take care of the field. I think it is very unfair to the women because we both have the life from our parents, and we cannot choose our sex before we come to this world. That’s the reason to say, “Was not your life already cursed with offspring?” Because the women cannot choose their destiny, they are cursed when they was borned. “We took you for rest to that old.” It means they want woman listen to them, just stay in the home that is like “that old”. “Yankee farm” means they should work in the farm and cannot go outside. That’s why they feel “so lonely” no one stay with them; the only thing in the farm is “so many field mice”. If you are the women in in the farm by yourself and there are no one take care about you, what will you do? therefore , they “return to us”. I think this is the liberty of the women. By reading this poem deeply, I know find the author wants to talk about the unequal care about women and men. We can see the difference care for women before by this poem. I think that’s why the author write “Oh, Black Persian cat.” in the end again. He wants explain the social problem in the world. I think this is a good poem because no one can tell their voice at that time.

The whole poem is the metaphor which is talk about the “black persian cat”. The author both talk about the unfair of the women also about the black persian cat. I think that is really good because there are lots of unequal things in our life, between human and human and also between human and animal. I think the author wants tell people take care of everything equally. If you don’t do that, the retribution will come soon. When I knew the meaning about this poem, I began to think about my life. Should we separate the different level between the people? I think everyone should be the same.

This poem is praising the tiger. The writer said the tiger is very strong, and its eyes are very bright. He was confused this kind of eyes can on the world. Therefore, on the second stanza, he said “In what distant deeps and skies”. In this part, the writer think there’s no eyes like this even in the hell or the heaven. By the other side, the writer also said, “On what wings dare he aspire?” I think he wanted to said the tiger can get rid of any dilemma just like the god, Icarus. Also, in the third stanza, there is a word, “shoulder”. The shoulder can mean the whole body in this poem. And, also in the third stanza, “And when thy heart began to beat” It can mean when it was born on the world. In writer’s opinion, he think the tiger is brave, smart and intrepid. I think he was talking about someone, but I am not sure about that. Maybe there is a person like this tiger.

In this poem, the writer use rhythm in it. In the first stanza, the writer use “bright, night” and “eye, symmetry”; in the other stanza, the writer also use the rhythms. Then, in the last stanza, the writer rewrite the first stanza.

I like this poem, because the writer use lots of rhetorical device. And I think these rhetorical devices are very interesting. On the other hand, the writer included lots of fairy tales into the poem. These fairy tales are all the bad ending and the gods are very hard in the stories. I think these want to say even the tiger is very hard to live, but it still live very well in the world. I think this poem want to tell us we should do our best to live in the world.

I chose this Poem because I could not understand it.I wanted to learn what this poem mean and why the writer write that. I like this one because I think the sentences are very graceful. I think this poem is talking about how the people fell when they fall in love.

Reflection

Painting Project For Pobby And Dingan

Last two weeks, we did a creative project for the book, Pobby and Dingan. I chose painting to do this project because I want to use painting to express this book. However, I think I am not very successful.

For this project, I paint Kellyanna, Pobby and Dingan on the paper. However, I did not draw Pobby and Dingan’s body because they are Kellyanna’s imaged friends. Then, I design how to draw Pobby and Dingan, so I draw their shadows. I draw three shadows for Pobby, Dingan and Kellyanna. I did not draw Kellyanna’s legs because in the end, she has already died. She is looking at a house. In my opinion, she cannot forget the her family, especially Ashmol, because he is the only one went to the claim to look for Pobby and Dingan. I think for the book, Ashmol is the only one really want Kellyanna to be better. That’s why he tried every thing that can make Kellyanna feel better. By the other way, his father care more about his job and his future; his mother care more about her choice before and her future. I think for this part, we can see the difference between adults and children. Children are more naive than adults. They think less about the works, money and life. They just help someone that they like. They did everything they want and they like.

For their house, I use the dark color that I want to say their family is sad for Kellyanna’s death. However, I use the light blue for the sky because I think even there is a family member died, they still should work and get more money to make this family to get better. Also, because people believe Kellyanna’s father is going to look for Pobby and Dingan, he is not the ratter any more; he can work in the claim again. That is another “nice day”. On the ground, there are nothing there because Kellyanna died, she won’t say more things about Pobby and Dingan. However, it looks not very comfortable because Kellyanna leave also.

In the beginning, I was thinking to draw the life that the left Kellyanna, Pobby and Dingan. However, that should draw like a cartoon, and that is the worst thing I drawed. I think their father and mother will still prepare for another three plates for Kellyanna, Pobby and Dingan. Maybe father will regret why he didn’t take more care about Kellyanna before. Therefore, for the Painting, I drew a view of Kellyanna’s back. That make she looks sad and worry. I think she is worry about her family; she is sad about she didn’t she died so young that she didn’t have a nice life. However, she is not lonely because Pobby and Dingan are staying with her.

I tried my best to do this project, but it still have so many problems. For example, I want to finish my project in the weekend that I have three days to change it. However, Ms. Kubat forgot sent email to tell AOD to open the Art Building for me, so I just can do that on Wednesday. Therefore, I have no time to change it. Then, the house, shadows, sky and etc. are all very simple. That is not the painting that I want to get. Also, in the beginning, I said I want to draw a opal in the sky, but when I finish most of the things on the paper, I find I have no time to draw the opal. Therefore, I just draw a very simple sky on the paper.

I have so many things should be improve. I think I will do better next time.

In Class Writing

Last week, I finish my outline for my painting. However, because this weekend Ms. Kubat forgot told AOD to open the door for me, I could not use the art building because I did not get the permission to do that. Therefore, I just stay in my room and change a little bit outline about my project, I thought about what should I writing on my painting, and where should I put. In this week, I will spend more time on color it and design it. I thought I should put more details in my painting. I was thinking about putting an opal on the top right side to be a sun.

Pobby and Dingan Project

I want to do the painting. Every week, I will spend  two or three hours in the art building to do the work. I think if I do the artwork, I cannot work too less once because artwork should be silent and slow; that will let people deep in painting. Therefore, maybe I will spend more time one week and less week to do my work. If there are too long time between two time of paint, the felling will be different. I have two reasons that I want to do my painting project.

First, I found a very interesting picture about Pobby and Dingan online, I want to paint them out and show that to the others. Also, I want to change a little thing in it because I want to draw Pobby and Dingan very clearly. On the other hand, I think this picture summarize a lot about the whole book.

Second, I want to have the art major later, so I want to draw as many as I can. Because in the dorm, I will draw something on my own book. Then, I will choose some to be my portfolio. I think this work also can be part of that. Also, because I always stay in my room during the weekend, I think I should go outside. I want to do some work and walk a little. Maybe, when I have done this work, I will go outside every weekend and go to someplace to paint.

I also asked other what are they work about. However, I think the board game have two people is enough; I am not very good at action; the essay should spend long time, and if there are two people in it, it should be very long work. By this reasons, I think the painting is the best choice for me.

The Quote of The Book

The Quote of The Book

"The secret of an opal's color lies not in its substance but in its absences." This is a sentence with in the beginning of the book. I did not know what it means before. However, when I finish my book, I began to understand what that means.

According to the book, we know that Kellyanna died in the end. I think at that moment, Ashmo know that the most important thing is his sister, and it is not the opal or anything else. In the beginning of the story, Ashmol seems he doesn’t like Kellyanna because she has two imaged friends. He thinks people are laughing at his family because they have a child like that. People cannot understand Keeyanna about her two friends because no one can see them. However, in the later story, Ashmol began to want to help Kellyanna to find her friends. He thinks Kellyanna will get the sick because these two friends disappeared. Ashmaol tries to make Kellyanna feels better. Even he thinks she is stupid that she believe she has two imaged friends, but she is also his sister. Then, he goes to the dark claim at the midnight and helps Kellyanna to find Pobby and Dingan. In his mind, he believes Pobby and Dingan are real. Then, he find a opal under a big rock. Although Ashmol can use this opal to make his family have a better life, he uses this opal to pay for Kellyanna’s funeral. I think that because he finds that the family member is more important than the better life.

On the other hand, when Ashmol use opal to pay for the funeral to the funeral for Pobby and Dingan. Ashmol’s father did not stop him. He also wants to make Kellyanna to be better. In the beginning of the story, how hard is him to find a opal in the claim. Even if he is called ratter, he still goes to make a new claim on the other place. However, after Kellyanna get the sick and just can lie on the bed, he seems have more humanization. In the courthouse, he talks about Kellyanna’s two imaged friends and told others how grievous his daughter is. Also, he doesn’t stop Ashmol to pay the funeral with the opal. I think that because he thinks his daughter is more important.

I think for this sentence, the opal means the money and the better life; the absences means the family member which is Kellyanna. Ashmol, father,and the members in that village all changed because of Kellyanna’s sick. People do not think father is a ratter anymore; Ashmol likes his sister more and tries to help her; father changes a lot that he doesn’t care about money so much like the beginning. They all want to save Kellyanna’s life. Because if they lose the money, they can use other way to get them back, but if they lose Kellyanna, they have no way to see her anymore. I think that is the meaning of the quote.

2. The claim are the ocean before. That is very unbelievable for Ashmol because the land was all of the water before but now, there are lots of rocks and sands. After he remember this, he think everything will be possible. Therefore, Pobby and Dingan also can be true. They are both very strange to the others, but maybe that is very normal for his sister, Kelltanna. Just like the land is ocean before is very strange to them, but it was very normal for the people at that time.

5. Rex's dream is to find the opal and get enough money for his family. That they can have a better life. But the are very hard. Just like Kellyanna's friend. people cannot see them, just Kellyanna can see them. They both make people very hard to believe they are true. Rex's dream is the same. Even his wife cannot believe him also. However, although no one believe he can find the opal, he still work very hard. Kellyanna is as same as him. She believe Pooby and Dingan are the real, so she tried to find them. 

Group 2: Question 4

Because he want to make his sister to feel better, also when his sister feels better, his mom would also be happier. On the other hand, that opal is not his, so he could not decide to sell it. We agree with his choice because if he can help Kellyanna hold a funeral, that means Pobby and Dingan are real friends and so people in the Lightning Ridge will believe that his Dad is not a ratter, which is the main reason he wants to help his daughter to find Pobby and Dingan.

Spring Break

In this spring break, I went to have some classes about my drawing. I live in Changzhou, but my mom thought there's no great teacher about drawing in Changzhou, so she found a professor in Wuxi for me. 

Because the place for me is too far away, I almost should spend 1 hour on the way there. That is a Art university. Professor let me drew with the students in the morning. In the beginning, I am very embarrassing because there only me is a high school students. However, after spending one day with them, I found they are also the students. Most of the topic they are talking about I knew and can talk with them. Over there, I have a good time.

However, although I have leant drawing for more than 10 years, I didn't draw anymore when I come to America. Also, I didn't draw the same kind of art. Therefore, I have so many problems when I was drawing. Professor taught me the way to draw that. First, he drew one and give me to see the steps to draw those. Than, he told me how to make the works looks really. Next, he let me draw one for him to see, and he will give me some advice when I was drawing. Finally, when I have done my work, he let me see what should I add. 

I draw 7 works in my whole spring break. In the beginning, I just drew some objects. Then, I began to draw the face of the people. In the end, I drew some clothes, shoes and jeans. I told professor I want to lean fashion design. He gave me lots of materials about fashion. He told me if I want to lean, I will lean well. I thinks  so.,I will spend some of my rest time on practicing drawing.

Pobby And Dingan

Pobby And Dingan

From the book, I knew Dingan is a very pretty, there is a “lovely opal in her bellybutton”. Pobby “had a limp in his right leg”. They speak English and like to whistle. Also, they don’t sleep and shoot. Kellyanna said they are pacifists. By the movie, we can see, Pobby is fat and short, and Dingan has long hair, and she is tall and thin.

I think in the common days, Pobby and Dingan will go anywhere with Kellyanna because they are the friends. When Kellyanna is having the classes, maybe they will also sit beside her and listen the classes with her. Maybe they will tell Kellyanna don’t forget to take notes; maybe they will tell her the answers when she got the questions in the class; maybe they will go to the front desk and make a joke with the teachers. After the classes, they will have a good time in the school. Maybe the other students will feel Kellyanna is crazy, but she won’t care about that. When they should go back home, Pobby and Dingan will go beside Kellyanna. If there are some cars go very quickly, they will notify her and let her go inside.

In the book, her father said he will take Pobby and Dingan to the exercise. I think they are not happy because Ashemol and father never think they are real. However, Kellyanna wants them go, so they go with father and Ashemol. However, when they come to the claim, they find father and Ashemol don’t want to take care of them, so they just come out of the car and play by themselves. They hope the night will come that they can go back home and find Kellyanna, but when they are playing, they forget the time and they cannot find the ways in the claim. They are fearful and wait the people can find them.

I think Pobby and Dingan will be the good friends because they are quiet, they can listen to Kellyanna they what she wants to tell others, but she cannot say. Also, because Dindan is pretty, Kellyanna can wear the clothes like her. By the other way, because they won’t sleep, they can think for Kellyanna what she forget for the next day.

In Class Writing

In my opinion, I think they are unreal, because Ashmol cannot see Ponny and Dingan. Also, in the beginning of the story, the book writes: "Kellyanne glared at me through tears the way she did the time I slammed the door of the ute in Dingan’s face or the time I walked over to where Pobby was supposed to be sitting and punched the air and kicked the air in the head to show Kellyanne that Pobby was a figment of her imaginings." (Rice, 1) We can see Ashmol just kicks the air, and there's nothing over there. Then, the mom said, "they were quieter and better behaved than me and deserved the grub." (Rice,1) Mom said they are quitter. We can see they don't talk with others, so I think mane they are imaged by Kellyanna. Next, Ashmol's Dad back, he said,"Did I tread on your fairy-friends?" (Rice, 5) That we can see his Dad don't take care about Kellyanna's friends so much, even he tread on them. If they are real, they will be hurt even killed by his Dad. Later, in the middle of chapter one, when Dad asks mom will is Kellyanna, mom said she is playing with her friends outside. Dad is a little angry and thinks Kellyanna becomes so strange. But mom said she just different. By this part, we can see mom and dad have already known Pobby and Dingan are imaged. There also have lots of reasons why I think they are unreal, but I think these are enough. In conclusion, I think Pobby and Dingan are imaged by Kellyanna, but only Ashmol wants tell her the truth; Kellyanna's parents although know they are not real, but they want to keep the balance between family. 

Improvement

In my first draft, there are too many summary, and I don't have enough analysis. Also, I don't have any quotation in my body paragraph to support my opinion. In addition, my first draft's thinking is very easy. Ian my final draft, I think I change a lot that to make my opinion to be harder to broke. I have lots of grammar mistakes in my first draft. Although there are still some mistakes, but that is not as many as in the first draft. In my final draft, have the correct format. 

The Review of Musical

This Friday night, I went to see the musical, Once On This Island. Because I forgot to sign up before, I waited there for a long time. The good thing is I wa still able to get in. The musical is about 2 hours. Although is a very long musical, it is still very interesting at all. The whole musical included singing, dancing and drama, and they combined with each other to make it complete. I think this is a great musical I have never seen.

In the beginning of the musical, I thought it won’t be as good as this because no one is professional to do this, but when the people began to talk, I felt I went to a musical theater. They talked like what that happened on themselves; they act like what happened in front of my eyes. However, when little Ti Moune ran back and the mallow Ti moune came out, I felt so funny because they looked so different. Ti Moune is really good at action. When people were talking, she didn’t look like there’s nothing to do, and she still stood there and looked like seeing the scenery. As we know, when they talked, they will spend about 2-3 min, but Ti Moune just stood there and was not strange.

The musical is talking about the girl, Ti Moune’s love. She was saved by the Gods when she is a child, and two old man and woman took care of her. When she grew up, the began to think about her life. She wanted to begin her life. Although she had a happy family, she still wanted to be rich and married with the person she liked. She asked the god to give her a love. Then, she met with the prince. However, the prince, Daniel will die because of the traffic accident. Ti Moune wanted to save her. She stayed with Daniel all the time and wanted the god to save him. But this time she was not as lucky as before. The Gods said Daniel will die soon; Papa, the god of death will take off his life. Ti Moune could not accept that, she said Papa could take of her life. Next, Daniel and Ti Moune had a good time which Ti Moune have never have. She was so happy and though she will marry with Daniel. In addition, Daniel have already had the Fiancee, and she was a pretty and rich woman. She was sad when she knew Daniel fell in love with another girl, but she didn’t say that. She let Ti Moune dance in front of all the rich people. Ti Moune didn’t know how to dance like them. She just danced like before. Daniel thought they could not love with her any more because they didn’t stay in the same world. In the end, Papa came again, she gave Ti Moune a knife and let her kill Daniel. If she do that, she could save her life. However, she could not kill Daniel, who fell in love with her before.

Ti Moune died. This is such a sad story. However, I felt I am a person in the story, because the actor acted so well. If there are another musical like that, I will go again.

Writing Center

This Wednesday, I went to the writing center for my paper. Ms. Swift told me a lot about how to change my paper to be better. I have so many mistakes should be fixed. Also, there are some advice she gave me that made me think a lot. I think those are very useful for my paper because it really make me feel very interesting. However, because there were too many people there at that time, I could not get all of them.

First, she told me there are some grammar mistakes I had. I knew that because I have a really poor English. And when I wrote my paper, I could not find my mistakes because that’s what I wrote. That’s one of the reasons I went to writing center. On the other hand, Ms. Swift told me I should change my introduction a little. As a result, the summary should be before the thesis. Then the summary won’t be too strange for the people after the thesis. In my first draft, I wrote too much about the summary. In my opinion, I wanted to summary what happened in the book and also in the movie. However, it didn’t work because that’s so boring in the article. In addition, people won’t spend so many time to read the summary about the book and the movie. In my body paragraph, I should also summary the story that I want to have analysis for, so the summary before the body paragraph is unnecessary.

Second, she told me I should think deeper for what the author wanted to say. For example, the name of movie is Frozen. Why it’s called Frozen? Just because Elsa has the magic? She thinks that also because Elsa closed her heart to make her frozen herself. When she knew the love between the family by Anna, she became warmer and knew how to help the people. The similarity between Me And You and Frozen is this I think. Because they both closed their heart and didn’t trust anyone in the beginning; then, when they met their sisters, they became warmer. I think that’s a good point to write this paper. Also, I want to think more about the deeper ideas for my paper. It is a good advice; I think I will think about it and make my paper to be deeper. Summary is a such boring things in one article. That will make reader don’t want to read it. For this reason, I will change my paper a lot to make it interesting.

In conclusion, I think she is really good at helping students about the writing. She gave me a lot of advice that I think is useful. In addition, she told us a book that is for how to write a good paper. I didn’t read that, but she told me some advantages to write a good paper. For example is to think deeper about the event which happened in the story. I think I should go again before the final draft.

The Reflection

Now, I am writing my second body paragraph. Because I changed a lot for my revised draft, I should spend more time to work on my final draft. For the revised draft, I deleted two of my paragraph which are about the summaries of the book and the movie. In the beginning, I just think I should talk about what happened in the book and movie. However, when I began to write my body paragraph, I found I can write about the summaries and analysis together in one paragraph. Also, if I write two paragraphs about the summary, that is too much summary in my paragraph. Therefore, after reading other’s paper, I began to think about how to change my paper to be more interesting and not make people like read the stories. Then, I did not spend too much time to change my grammar mistakes; I deleted two summary paragraphs and add two more body paragraph. Although I’ve already plan how to write this paper, I still did not finish writing it. I think I still should spend more to finish writing my paper. In addition, I think I should go over and over after finishing this paper, because I always very careless and make lots of mistakes such as the grammar. I know that’s very hard for me to fix my grammar and some sentence mistakes, for writing by me. The reason I cannot find the mistakes is I’ve done this paper, I don’t know the mistakes I have in the paper. I think it’s hard for a writer to find the mistakes she has, because if she knows that’s the mistake, she won’t write down that. For this reason, I think I can ask help from my teacher, also my classmates. By the other way, I think I should work on my body paragraph also. I went to the writing center,  the teacher told me I should work more about the connection of the sentence in the body paragraph. As a result, there are lots of sentences are hard to understand for others, I should do more about that. Also, there are some sentences are not belong to that paragraph. Ms. Swift told me I should work more about the deeper things for the movie and the book. In conclusion, I did not finish my paper, But I think I still should work a lot because there are lots of mistakes should I change.

Favorite sentence

" I like this sentence because this sentence tell the across the whole paper. I think this sentence is the most important sentence in the article, for the main topic I want o talk about. There are lots of similarities between Elsa and Lorenzo that they both become more helpful and begin to trust each other in the end of the story because of their sisters who they don't have a good relationship with. The book, Me And You is about Lorenzo, a little boy who has some problems about the relationship with others. He lies to his mom he will go to the ski week, but he stays in the basement instead of going ski with his friends. However, he changed himself after spending the whole ski week with his half sister who went to the basement to look for the money for getting the drugs. The movie, Frozen has some very similar things; Elsa also don’t have a good relationships with her sister, Anna, before because of the magic of her. After she runs away from the castle, and Anna goes to find her, she knows what is the love between family and changes herself. First, they both became more helpful because of their sisters. Lorenzo wanted to help his mother when they got the accident. However, Lorenzo could not do anything that made him think he was useless. After meeting with Olivia, he wanted to help her. As we know, in the article, Lorenzo thinks Olivia has Malaria. Just like what the book said, “She has Malaria. Like Caravaggio.” After Lorenzo thinks that, he wants to help Olivia from the sickness. By this part, Lorenzo feels he is helpful. He thinks he saves a person who is his sister. Lorenzo changes a lot. The most important one is he becomes more helpful because we can see the big different between the beginning and the end. The movie Frozen has a very similar relationship between Anna and Elsa. In the movie, Elsa had the magic and she hurt Anna when they were both young who is her sister. That event made her felt so sorry to Anna. So she locked herself in her room and didn’t talk with anyone. After Anna went to find her when she ran away from the castle because the people find her magic and tried to kill her. She hurt Anna again and it’s really hart to let her recovery. Therefore, Elsa tries to save her. During the time she looking for they ways to save Anna, she knows what is love. That’s a such bad relationship between Anna and Elsa in the beginning of the story. Anna don’t remember anything because the Master let her forget anything even the magic of Elsa. Therefore, Anna is so confused why her sister doesn’t play with her anymore. That’s the reason why their relationship become worse. Lorenzo and Elsa both have a bad relationship with their family member, even if that because of different reasons; after have a time with their sisters, they try to help their family member. Second, in the beginning of the book and movie, Lorenzo and Elsa don’t trust anyone else beside themselves; however, after stay with their sisters, they begin to trust others. As we know, in the book, Lorenzo never tell others the truth which he is lying to others; such as he is a good person who has lots of friends and sometimes he will spend time with his friends and live in their home; such as he will go to the ski week with their friends instead of stay in the home or basement. In my opinion, he doesn’t tell the truth because he cannot trust anyone else. He thinks no one will stand with him and give him the support.

Proof - Lorenzo had no friend before. After living with Olivia, he began to trust Olivia and they promised with each other.

Elsa could not believe anyone. When Anna went to find her, she felt the love from Anna and began to trust her.

Analysis

When Annie and Hallie knew the identities they are, they began to help and support each other by having the same goal that made their parents marry again.

The Parent Trap

The Parent Trap is about the relationship between the twins. They were separated when they were born because their parents were broken. Nick is their father who is a wealthy wine grower. He owned a big field of grapes in Napa Volley. Elizabeth is their mother who is a wedding gown designer. She is very famous in London. Hallie was in Napa Volley with her father Nick. Annie was in London with her mother. Because they were indifferent country, their personalities are so different. Hallie was a very outgoing girl just like a boy. Annie was a gentlewoman and do everything very carefully.

In one summer, they went to the same summer trip. Because they didn’t know each other, and their parents also didn’t tell them about their sister, they didn’t know each other at the beginning. Even they were in the opposite side. They always made fun with each other. However, Hallie did a big trick for Annie but the teacher found that. She was so angry that she made they live in the same room. In the beginning, they didn’t want to talk with the other. They wouldn’t kink they would be the friends after a raining day.

They found one of them had the father, and one of them had the mother. They both had a broken picture about their parent that they’ve never seen before. They found their picture and gave it to the other to see. They were so surprised that they had the same parents. Then they wanted to see the parent they’ve never seen before. They began to teach each other how to do like the other. Also, they told the other about the life they have, the characteristics they have, the relationship between people.

But when Annie go to Napa Volley with her father, she found he would marry with another woman. Then, they talked with each other by telephone and planned how to make their parents remember each other again. Hallie told Elizabeth she is her another daughter. Their father, Nick, wanted to have a dinner with her in a restaurant. However, the truth was Nick didn’t know that. When they saw each other, they thought they wouldn’t go back anymore. Then, they get their daughters and live like before.

One time, they wanted to have a trip. At the beginning, they just had Nick, Elizabeth, Annie and Hallie. However, Elizabeth thought Meredith would be the member of their family so she let Meredith went with them. Annie and Hallie didn’t like her so they always did some trick on her. That makes Meredith very angry and said to Nick that he had to choose daughter or marriage. In the end, Nick chose his daughter.

Annie and Hallie thought their parents would go back but Elizabeth said Annie had to go back London with her. However, when they landed in the airport, they found Hallie and Nick had already waited there. Nick said he wanted began again. He wouldn’t leave anymore. The end is they married with each other again.
