From the book, I knew Dingan is a very pretty, there is a “lovely opal in her bellybutton”. Pobby “had a limp in his right leg”. They speak English and like to whistle. Also, they don’t sleep and shoot. Kellyanna said they are pacifists. By the movie, we can see, Pobby is fat and short, and Dingan has long hair, and she is tall and thin.

I think in the common days, Pobby and Dingan will go anywhere with Kellyanna because they are the friends. When Kellyanna is having the classes, maybe they will also sit beside her and listen the classes with her. Maybe they will tell Kellyanna don’t forget to take notes; maybe they will tell her the answers when she got the questions in the class; maybe they will go to the front desk and make a joke with the teachers. After the classes, they will have a good time in the school. Maybe the other students will feel Kellyanna is crazy, but she won’t care about that. When they should go back home, Pobby and Dingan will go beside Kellyanna. If there are some cars go very quickly, they will notify her and let her go inside.

In the book, her father said he will take Pobby and Dingan to the exercise. I think they are not happy because Ashemol and father never think they are real. However, Kellyanna wants them go, so they go with father and Ashemol. However, when they come to the claim, they find father and Ashemol don’t want to take care of them, so they just come out of the car and play by themselves. They hope the night will come that they can go back home and find Kellyanna, but when they are playing, they forget the time and they cannot find the ways in the claim. They are fearful and wait the people can find them.

I think Pobby and Dingan will be the good friends because they are quiet, they can listen to Kellyanna they what she wants to tell others, but she cannot say. Also, because Dindan is pretty, Kellyanna can wear the clothes like her. By the other way, because they won’t sleep, they can think for Kellyanna what she forget for the next day.
